What still runs

The Sedang track is a jungle loop. Rain makes it muddier, which is the ride people book. Guides shorten a line if a rut is too deep. They do not cancel because the sky is grey. Bring the dry clothes either way. The lunch is at the base, under cover.

Ayung rafting from the put-in above Kedewatan still goes out in rain. You are already wet. Higher water in the wetter months means a faster trip between the same class of rapids, not a different river. Wos tubing is a sit-on float. Rain on the canyon is normal. A flood line or a stair the group cannot climb is the stop, and you hear that from the guide, not from a forecast app the night before.

What actually stops a day

• Lightning over the track, the river, or the Gitgit gorge
• A put-in or take-out the car or the group cannot reach
• A canyoning pitch the operator closes after looking at the water
• A dirt-bike handover the garage postpones because the lava or the jungle track is unsafe

If the morning reply says the sport is off, you move the date or drop that line. You do not pay a new price for the same ticket. Card numbers are not taken on the website, so the hold is the written quote, not a charge you have to claw back.

Wet months and dry months

Bali’s drier stretch is often April through October. November through March is often wetter, with a heavy hour and then sun. That pattern is not a promise for a Tuesday. Book the date you are free. The sports on this list do not have a closed season.
