Where the 3 hours go

1. Meet the crew above Kedewatan, sign the safety sheet, and get your helmet and life jacket.
2. Walk the stairs down to the river. Take them slowly; they can be wet.
3. Practice strokes on a quiet stretch: forward, back, stop, and get down.
4. The canyon run: Class II–III rapids, cliff walls, and short photo stops where the guide pulls in.
5. Take-out, the stairs back up, a shower, dry clothes, and lunch.

Other Ayung operators publish river runs of roughly 10–12 km and about 2 hours on the water, with 4–6 hours door to door. The water level changes the pace. In the rain months, roughly November to March, the river is faster. In the dry months it is slower, with more rocks to bounce off.

Door to door from your hotel

Rafting fills a morning or an afternoon, not a whole day. That leaves room for a second sport. The Sedang ATV plus Ayung rafting on the same date takes 10% off both. The ATV goes first, and the rafting comes after lunch.

What the time costs

The Rp amount under each price is the same US dollar price in rupiah at Rp 16.500 per US$1, the rate fixed with the rate card on 30 September 2026. It is multiplied out exactly, not rounded up, so the lines on an invoice add up to the total in both currencies. It is a conversion, not a second price.
