How to pick the best ATV for your group
- Drive time. From a hotel in central Ubud, all five are 20–40 minutes away. From Canggu or Seminyak, the southern tracks (Sedang, Silakarang, Bongkasa) save time.
- Terrain. Sedang is mud and river water. Payangan and Silakarang are known for caves. Taro is higher and cooler. Pick the one you would want in your photos.
- Price per person, not per quad. Ask whether the price is per rider, per machine, or per tandem, and whether lunch and the hotel car are in it.
- Who rides. At Sedang, drivers are 16+ and younger children ride as passengers on a tandem. Ask each other track for its own age rule.
- What happens after. A shower, a changing room, and lunch matter when you are covered in mud and still have to sit in a car.
- Same-day pairing. If you also want rafting, choose a track close to the Ayung. Sedang pairs with Ayung rafting or Wos tubing for 10% off two sports.
