How to turn a Bali holiday into an ATV adventure

Choose the ticket that fits the holiday

Ubud Outdoor Activities books the Sedang quad at All New Bali Adventure. A single rider pays $47 and drives their own automatic quad. Two riders pay $45 each. Three or more pay $44 each. A couple who want one machine book the tandem at $69. Both people who want to drive book two singles, not one tandem.

• Beach hotel, one free afternoon: one single or one tandem, then back for dinner.
• Ubud hotel, and you want water as well: ATV first, then Wos tubing or Ayung rafting. Two sports take 10% off the sport subtotal. All three take 12%.
• First time holding a throttle: the single is still the right ticket. The guide sets the pace. The tandem is for a passenger who does not want to drive.

Fit it into the day you already have

The visit is 2–4 hours, including the briefing, the laps, a shower, and lunch. The drive from central Ubud is about 30–40 minutes. From Canggu, Seminyak, Sanur, Kuta, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu, or Candidasa the hotel shuttle is $34 once for pickup and drop-off. Self-meet at the gate is $0. Book the morning if you also want a river. Three sports fills the daylight. Two sports leaves an afternoon in Ubud.

What you bring, and what the arena fits

Wear clothes that can take mud, and leave a dry set in the car. The arena fits a helmet and boot shoes. Closed shoes from the hotel are still useful for the walk to the quad. No licence is required. Drivers are 16 or older. Activity insurance on the ticket is described for ages 6–65. A back, neck, or pregnancy note belongs on the invoice before you pay.

The Sedang line is a jungle loop: shaded dirt, muddy bowls, and shallow crossings. You follow a guide. You are not sent into a cave, and you do not ride under a waterfall. Those are the Payangan ride at Kuber Bali Adventure, Br. Bayad, Desa Melinggih Kelod, Payangan. This invoice does not include that ride. If a listing promises a 400-metre tunnel or a waterfall splash and then names our $47 price, it is mixing two gates.

Make the holiday day jungle and a river

The best day you can book on this desk is one ATV plus a river. Do the quad first. Wos tubing is $31 and does not include lunch. Ayung rafting is $31 per person, minimum two, and that ticket includes lunch. The 10% or 12% comes off the sports only. The $34 shuttle is added once after that. Canyoning, dirt bikes, buggies, cycling, and Mount Batur stay at full rate.

2. The total is in US dollars. It names the party size and the hotel zone.
